Managing Director

Jane Neale has over 20 years’ experience operating at Managing Director level advising clients across multiple industry sectors. As a founder of Hattonneale Jane has helped to establish Hattonneale as a trusted advisor on CEO, C-Suite and Senior executive appointments. Jane’s experience includes the appointment of Chairman and Non-Executive Directors to the Boards of ASX listed and private companies.

Prior to establishing Hattonneale Jane Neale had 20 years’ experience in the advertising industry including three years as Managing Director of Australia's largest advertising agency, George Patterson. In her 20 years at George Patterson, Jane consulted on a vast range of blue chip multi-national and local clients across Retail, FMCG, Media and major sporting events including the Sydney 2000 Olympic Games and the Rugby World Cup.

 

Jane is well connected across multiple industry sectors having previously served as a board member on the Australian Association of National Advertisers [AANA] and the Advertising Federation of Australia.

Jane completed a Bachelor of Arts (Communications) at UTS and is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (GAICD).

Jane is currently a Non-Executive Director of the Shore Foundation and the Sydney University Football Club.

ANNE HATTON

Anne Hatton has over 20 years’ experience in Executive Search, Recruitment and the HR industry. Prior to establishing Hattonneale in 2008, Anne was CEO of one of the sector's largest organisations in Australia, Hudson (formerly Morgan & Banks) and led the business through a period of significant change and growth. Anne began her career in financial services working with a large domestic bank as well as a global investment banking group, servicing a diverse domestic and international customer group...

Anne Hatton has over 20 years’ experience in Executive Search, Recruitment and the HR industry.  Prior to establishing Hattonneale in 2008, Anne was CEO of one of the sector's largest organisations in Australia, Hudson (formerly Morgan & Banks) and led the business through a period of significant change and growth.  Anne began her career in financial services working with a large domestic bank as well as a global investment banking group, servicing a diverse domestic and international customer group.

With significant client acquisition and development experience across a broad range of organisations including; ASX listed companies, private growth companies and multinational corporations, Anne has deep experience working with Boards, CEOs and C Suite Executives.

Since establishing Hattonneale, Anne’s primary focus has been on working with Board’s and Senior Executives across the Financial Services, Healthcare, Aged Care, Agribusiness and Property sectors.  Anne is passionate about helping businesses identify and build Board and Senior Executive capability, and in working with experienced and emerging Executives to meet her clients’ needs.

Anne completed a Bachelor of Arts (Economics and Japanese) at the University of Sydney and is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (GAICD).

GRACE ATKINSON

Grace Atkinson joined Hattonneale as an Associate Partner following the acquisition of her Executive Search business Third Sector People. She has been completing Executive Search assignments in the Third, or not-for-profit sector, for close to seven years...

Grace Atkinson joined Hattonneale as an Associate Partner following the acquisition of her Executive Search business Third Sector People.  She has been completing Executive Search assignments in the Third, or not-for-profit sector, for close to seven years.

Grace’s experience has been both broad and deep encompassing a diverse range of sectors and role functions.  In particular she has developed in-depth knowledge and experience of the Human Services and Community Services Sector, Education, Health, Mental Health, Medical Research, Humanitarian and the Arts.  Roles have spanned the Senior Management, C-suite and Non-Executive Director levels.

Previously, Grace worked with Sotheby’s for five and a half years as an Auction Administrator before a brief stint with a private contemporary Sydney gallery as Head of Private Clients.

Grace began her career in London with Sotheby’s, working in the Impressionist & Modern Art department for four years before moving back to Sydney to take on a role with the Australian Paintings department.  Her experience includes administration, client development and research.

Joe Karsay

Joe Karsay has close to a decade of Executive Search experience in Australia and Asia, having most recently worked as a Consultant with a tier-1, global search firm, based in Hong Kong. His search experience has included both Non-Executive Director assignments, in addition to C-level Executive appointments (direct reports to a Chief Executive Officer)...

Joe Karsay has close to a decade of Executive Search experience in Australia and Asia, having most recently worked as a Consultant with a tier-1, global search firm, based in Hong Kong.  His search experience has included both Non-Executive Director assignments, in addition to C-level Executive appointments (direct reports to a Chief Executive Officer).  He has a particular focus on “Corporate Officer” roles including Chief Financial Officer, Chief Sales and Marketing Officer, General Counsel (and Company Secretary), Corporate Affairs and related functions.

Joe has supported a wide variety of companies from private family interests to large listed companies and multinationals.  He has had exposure to many sectors with particular depth in financial services, technology and retail.

 

Prior to becoming an Executive Search Consultant, Joe was a Technology Lawyer with the leading Australian TMT firm – Gilbert + Tobin.  In that period, he assisted a number of the “big four” Australian Banks on their contractual relationship with major technology vendors.

Joe is an active member of the Old Cranbrookians Association.  Joe has a Bachelor of Arts and a Bachelor of Laws from the University of New South Wales.
